By the way, doctor. I'm 86 and have been getting four cortisone shots a year for the past several years for the arthritis in my right knee. But my doctor seems to think the shots are a bad idea. Doesn't the pain relief outweigh any long-term harm, especially at my age?  [electronic resource]
